Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
